Passenger Dies After Rescue From QM2

A British passenger has died after he was rescued from Cunard's Queen Mary 2 off the coast of Ireland. 

This morning just after 8 am. the 88-year-old man was medevaced by Valentia Coastguard Helicopter to Kerry University Hospital from the liner where he later died.

The passenger was suffering from pneumonia.

RMS Queen Mary 2 was sailing from New York to Southampton. She was 60 nautical miles southwest of Castletownbere.
