Chichijima (translated as "Father Island", fka Peel Island) is one of Japan's Bonin Islands ((Ogasawara archipelago). The island is administred by the Tokyo Metropolis. Chichi-jima Island is located approx 240 km (150 ml) north of Iwo Jima island. The isle is sized 24 km2 (9,3 ml2) and has population of around 2,000.
