Lyngseidet is a port village and the administrative center of Lyngen municipality in Norway's Troms county. The village has total area approx 1 km2 (0,3 mi2) and population around 800.
The port is located on an isthmus (width 3 km / 2 mi) between Ullsfjorden and Lyngenfjorden. It is approx 15 km (9 mi) north of Furuflaten and 12 km (8 mi) from Olderdalen (by ferry). The village has church, grocery store, nursing home, daycare center, library, school.
