Shwe Pyi Thar is a village situated on the east bank of Irrawaddy (Ayeyarwaddy) river in Myanmar, famous for the production of sweet jaggery candy from palm sap.
Shwepyitha Township is situated in the northwestern part of Myanmar's Yangon. The township comprises fifteen wards and five village tracts. It shares borders with Mingaladon Township in the east, Yangon river in the west, Htantabin Township in the north, and Insein Township in the south. Shwepyitha was incorporated into Yangon city in 1986. It is still quite undeveloped and lacks some of the basic municipal services. The township features 43 primary schools, 3 middle schools and 4 high schools (with the most famous high school being B.E.H.S.)
The Hong Kong based company, Baolaixin Industry Development, has become the first to begin production of hang tags and labels for garments in Myanmar, as per MGMA (Myanmar Garment Manufacturers Association’s) website. The facility is situated in Shwe Pyi Thar township, Yangon. The new factory is equipped to produce various types of transfer print.
