01 July 2018 | Structural and Technical Issues On July 1, 2018, due to mechanical problems, the ship remained docked at Prince Rupert terminal, canceling the scheduled departure to Skidegate (Haida Gwaii) at 10 am. The reported issue was with the onboard fire detection system. A specialist from Miami was flown to attend the needed repairs. All affected passengers were rebooked on future crossings. |
