On August 5, 2010, the ferry collided with a fishing trawler (prawn boat). The accident resulted in 1 missing fisherman (teenager).
The collision with the fishing boat happened off Berwickshire's coast (Scotland), at ~8 pm. Two fishermen (brothers) were on the boat. The rescued man (aged 20) was saved by another fishing boat. The other brother (aged 16) was never found.
MCA (UK's Maritime and Coastguard Agency) conducted a 17-hour long search operation, which was suspended on August 6, at ~2 pm.
