MS Fram cabins review

Standard amenities in all MS Fram cabins include a Queen-size double bed (convertible to twins, with under-bed suitcase storage), bedside cabinets, wall-mounted reading lamps, LED ceiling lights, a mirrored vanity table (writing desk) with armchair, a low table with lounge chairs (some with a 2-seater sofa), wardrobe, electronic safe (in the closet), coffee/tea making facilities (kettle and tray with coffee and tea packets), phone (intercom), wall-mounted smart HDTV (satellite reception, infotainment system), mini-bar (refrigerator), carpet flooring, individually controlled air conditioning, and an en-suite bathroom (WC/wall-mounted toilet, glass shower, single-sink vanity, magnifying mirror, towels, bathrobes, and hairdryer). Cabins also feature 220V power outlets and USB ports.

Below is a review of MS Fram stateroom categories, detailing amenities, furnishings, and complimentary services:

  • MG – Grand Suites: One or two-room suites, most with private balconies (some with bay windows), separate sitting area (sofa, chair, cocktail table), and queen-size beds. Some have bathtubs. The exception is cabin MG-601 (Deck 6 Owner’s Suite), which has a separate bedroom but no balcony.
  • M2 – Mini Suites: Feature picture windows (some with private balconies), a separate sitting area, and double beds.
  • F1/F2 – Superior Arctic Cabins: Offer picture windows, a separate sitting area, and double beds. All are named after Norwegian polar explorers.
  • U/N/H Cabins: Have porthole windows, one single bed, one sofabed, and a table. Some category N cabins have upper/lower beds.
  • FJ – Superior Inside Cabins: Include double beds and a separate sitting area.
  • I – Inside Cabins: Have single beds and sofa beds (some with upper/lower berths).
  • Cabin balconies are furnished with deckchairs and low tables.

Room service is provided twice daily. Cabins SD-342 and SD-346 are wheelchair-accessible (adapted for guests with disabilities) but are also available for general booking.

All cabins come with double beds by default; twin-bed configurations must be requested in advance (at the time of booking). Triple and quad cabins are equipped with Murphy beds and Pullman beds (wall-mounted upper bunks). Mini-bars in suites are complimentary and stocked with bottled water, soft drinks, alcoholic beverages, candy bars, and snacks.
