Silja Galaxy ferry cabins review
The cruise ferry ship Silja Galaxy has 927 cabins (a total of 2500 berths), all located on Decks 5, 8, and 9. All staterooms are air-conditioned, with en-suite bathrooms, and are available as both inside and outside cabins. The ferry company provides bed linens, towels, and toiletries. Some staterooms are wheelchair-accessible (adapted for disabled passengers). Cabins for passengers with allergies and those traveling with pets are also available.
All cabins feature wall-mounted bunk beds and en-suite bathrooms (angled sink, wall-mounted toilet, shower cubicle, hairdryer). A baby crib and potty (1 per cabin), as well as bedside rails (2 per cabin), are provided complimentary upon request. Room service can be ordered up to 4 days prior to departure.
- (Deck 5) Allergy Cabins are available in the following categories: Family (4x), A-Class (9x), and B-Class (17x), each equipped with WC, shower, and flat-screen TV.
- (Deck 5) Handicap Cabins (for disabled passengers) are in the A-Class Outside category (size 13 m2), each fitted with two fixed lower beds, WC, shower, flat-screen TV, and wider doors for wheelchair access.
- (Deck 5) Pet Cabins (for passengers traveling with pets) accommodate 2–4 persons and include WC, shower, flat-screen TV, and linoleum flooring. Pet cabins are available in A-Class, B-Class, and C-Class categories.
- Deck 2 houses most of the staff and crew cabins.
All passengers must vacate their staterooms 30 minutes prior to arrival at the homeport. Passenger registration ends 1 hour prior to ferry departure.
