As standard amenities, all Sunflower Kurenai staterooms (さんふらわあ くれない ステートルーム) feature lower and upper beds (some also offer Japanese-style futons), HDTV (including a drone ship tour), free Wi-Fi, a mirrored writing desk with chair, power outlet, wall-mounted lighting, and a bedside air purifier.

Superior and higher-category cabins also include nightwear/pajamas, slippers, toothbrushes, tissues, deodorant spray, bath mat, towels (bath, face, and service), a trash can, shoehorn, and additional toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, and body soap).

Deluxe and higher-category cabins also include tea sets and bottled mineral water.

With the cruise ships Kurenai and Murasaki, MOL Ferries (via Ferry Sunflower Ltd) introduced the world’s—and Japan’s—first “connecting stateroom,” combining a Japanese-style room with a Western-style room. This unique accommodation is specifically designed for families and multi-generational travelers.

15x Private Bed cabins (inside shared rooms, capacity 16 passengers, also known as “Fish Sleeping Rooms”) are fitted with stair-type bunk beds.

5x Japanese-style Group Rooms (capacity 3-4 passengers) are fitted with futon bedding.

Each of the 89x Standard Single cabins (for truck drivers) is fitted with a single bed (for 1 person).
