Sunflower Murasaki ferry cabins and suites

As standard amenities, all Sunflower Murasaki staterooms (さんふらわあ むらさき ステートルーム) provide lower and upper beds (some have Japanese-style futons), HDTV (the video content includes a drone ship tour), free WiFI, mirrored writing table with a chair, power outlet, wall-mounted lights, air purifier (bedside).

Superior and above category cabins are additionally provided with nightwear/pajamas, slippers, toothbrushes, tissues, deodorant spray, bath mat, towels (bath, face, service), trash can, shoehorn, and more toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body soap).

Deluxe and above categories also receive tea sets and bottled mineral water.

With the cruise ships Murasaki and Kurenai, MOL Ferries (via Ferry Sunflower Ltd) introduced the world's/and Japan's first "connecting stateroom" that combines a Japanese-style room with a Western-style room. The unique accommodation is specifically designed to provide convenience for families and multi-generational travelers.

Sunflower Murasaki cabins are in the following categories - Suite, Connecting Suite (Japanese-style Room interconnected with a Western-style Semi-Suite), Semi-Suite Connect (Western-style Room), Deluxe Cabin, Connecting Deluxe Cabin (Deluxe Room plus Japanese-style Semi-Deluxe Room), Superior (Single/1-bed, and Double/twin beds), Standard and Private cabins (Single and Double), as well as Group Cabins (Japanese-style rooms with multiple beds), Bed Group Cabins (quads with 4 berths) and Pet Cabins.

All Suite accommodations are grouped on Deck 8 and (except Barrier-Free rooms) each features a private, step-out balcony. The terrace (accessed via slide-opening floor-to-ceiling door windows) is furnished with two deckchairs and a small table.

30x Superior Single cabins (inside/without window) are fitted with a single bed, refrigerator.

26x Superior Twin cabins (inside double/without window) are fitted with twin beds, refrigerator.

4x Private Twin cabins (inside double/without window) are with twin beds.

4x Private Single Twin cabins (inside double/without window) are with a single bed and sofabed. A total of 18x Private Single cabins (inside/no window) have a single bed (for 1 person). Private Single rooms are with an internal key only (can't be locked from the outside).

17x Private Bed Group cabins (inside/no window, capacity 4-6 passengers) are fitted with 2-tiered bunk beds. Of those, 16 are quads (for 4 people) and 1 cabin is for 6 people (sofabed). Bed Group are Japanese-style cabins with an internal key only (can't be locked from the outside).

15x Private Bed cabins (inside shared rooms, capacity 16 people/aka Fish Sleeping Rooms) are fitted with stair-type bunks.

5x Japanese-style Group Rooms (capacity 3-4 people) are with futon bedding.

Each to the 89x Standard Single cabins (for Truck Drivers) has a single bed (for 1 person).

The cruise ferry Sunflower Murasaki has complimentary private showers (available 24 hours a day) as well as two Large Public Bathhouses (1x for men, 1x for women).
