Review of Fred Olsen Borealis deck 8 (Lido-Pools-Wellness-Restaurants3-Sundeck1)

Fitness Center is a fully-equipped gym, featuring treadmills, cross-trainers, bikes, free weights and weight machines. It also offers complimentary group classes such as yoga, Pilates and stretching sessions, and guests can book one-on-one personal training if they wish.

Atlantis Spa & Salon offers a broad menu of luxurious treatments including massages, facials, manicures, pedicures and hair-dressing services. Guests can also access the thermal suite, featuring a steam room with aromatherapy vapours, a hydro-bath and heated ceramic relaxation beds designed to release muscle tension. During the 2025 refurbishment the Atlantis Spa received new salon equipment, a new pedicure chair and renewed jacuzzi facilities, and selected guest corridors had fresh-water piping systems replaced. 

Lido Pool area covered by a retractable roof (open 7 am - 10 pm, with 1 main pool, 2 Whirlpools, bandstand, tennis tables), served by Lido Bar and Poolside Cafe.

Tea & Coffee Stations

Vasco Restaurant (starboard location speciality restaurant) offers a modern take on Goan-inspired Indian cuisine, with chefs from Goa crafting dishes that combine tropical spices and European flavours. It’s a speciality venue with an additional charge and is designed to give guests a more exotic and flavorful dining experience than the main restaurant.

View Buffet Restaurant features large windows with ocean views, creating a relaxed and casual dining atmosphere. Open for breakfast, lunch, dinner and afternoon tea, it offers a varied buffet with freshly baked cakes and daily “Treats of the Region” dishes inspired by destinations visited.
