MS Filia Rheni II deck plans

MS Filia Rheni 2 (built in 1999, formerly Viking Danube, last refurbished in 2013) was one of the two oldest Viking River Cruises ships operating on the Danube River, alongside Viking Sky (now MS Carissima, her sistership), Viking Legend, and Viking Prestige.

The Filia Rheni / Viking Danube deck plan includes a total of 75 staterooms accommodating up to 150 passengers, served by 40 crew members. The ship has 4 passenger decks and 1 elevator connecting the Middle and Upper decks. Among the vessel’s highlights are a Whirlpool Spa, Sauna, and a swimming pool located on the Sun Deck — all popular amenities along her Grand Danube cruise itineraries.

The ship’s Restaurant (Main Dining Room) offers the following menus:

• Breakfast Menu: A selection of breads and pastries, cereals, fresh fruit, omelettes, pancakes, scrambled eggs, cold meats, sausages, bacon, and beverages including coffee, tea, milk, juices, and water.
• Lunch Menu: A variety of salads, “sandwich of the day,” appetizers, soups, pasta dishes, two hot main courses, and dessert.
• Dinner Menu: Two appetizers, one soup, two main courses (meat or fish options), and two desserts (or a cheese board). Guests may also order popular favorites such as chicken breast, salmon, sirloin steak, or Caesar salad.
• Themed Dinners: Cruise itinerary-based evenings include “Hungarian,” “Slovakian,” “German,” “Mozart” (Austrian), “International,” and “Summer” themes, along with the formal “Welcome Aboard” and “Farewell” dinners.

The Aquavit Lounge — an outdoor, covered seating area — serves a self-service continental breakfast and a light lunch menu. Lunch options typically include a roast beef carvery and casual favorites such as hotdogs, burgers, and fries.
