Mein Schiff 2 (2019-built, scheduled refurbishment in 2024 January) is the 6th ship in TUI Cruises fleet, with sisterships Schiff 1 (2018) and Schiff 7 (2023). The shipowner and operator TUI Cruises GmbH is a joint venture capital company of TUI AG (German travel corporation /formerly Preussag AG) and RCG-Royal Caribbean (world’s second largest passenger shipping corporation after Carnival).

The ship’s design makers list features renowned companies, such as Wilson Butler Architects (deck areas, public spaces, theatre, concert hall), CM Design (interior/public areas, cruise cabins, restaurants, entertainment venues), Tillberg Design (interior). TUI Schiff 2 cruise rooms were pre-manufactured by STX Finland Cabins.
