  • The Sun Deck has a large shaded seating area with deckchairs (covered by a large retractable awning) and multiple loungers for outdoor relaxation. It offers unobstructed 360° panoramic views for enjoying the scenery along the MS Vasco de Gama cruise itinerary route on river Douro.
  • Unlike most of the CroisiEurope ships, this riverboat has no bicycles (used free of charge on organized or individual excursions ashore). This boat also had an aft-location swimming pool (with a surrounding sunbathing area) both removed during the refit and refurbishment in 2009.
  • In the morning, guests can participate in a group exercise class.
  • The ship’s top deck is accessible only by stairs.
