On Saturday, May 7, AIDA Cruises' ship AIDAaura became the 12th vessel in the fleet to depart from Hamburg (Germany) on a 14-day voyage to Scotland & Ireland.

In addition to the natural adventures of the Scottish islands, passengers can expect 2-day stays in Killybegs and Dublin (Ireland, Dun Laoghaire Harbour - overnight stay)

Capt. Carsten Waetge and his crew are looking forward to the passengers and this voyage. Following a shipyard stop last month, they have used the past weeks to prepare the liner for the guests.

In addition to Great Britain and Ireland voyages, AIDAaura’s program features northern France/the Bay of Biscay from Hamburg.

The AIDAaura cruises from Bremerhaven (Germany) in July & August 2022 take travelers into the far north. Incredible nature and unique wildlife make these sailings an unforgettable experience. The 21-day voyages take passengers to Scotland, Iceland & Greenland, past fjords, icebergs, and glaciers.

On October 18, 2022, AIDAaura is expected to bid farewell to Germany and set sail for her winter destination South Africa. Highlights of the crossing to Cape Town are Cape Verde and the Canaries, Walvis Bay (Namibia), and Luderitz on the edge of the Namib Desert.

With the AIDA Summer Promise, the cruise line offers its passengers extra security and flexibility in their booking. When reserving a new voyage in the 2022 summer until May 31, guests can rebook once free of charge up to 30 days prior to the beginning of their trip - in all fares, both the route and the travel date. This applies to departures from March 30 through to October 31, 2022.

For all AIDA cruises in the 2022 summer season, full COVID vaccination is a prerequisite for all passengers 12+ years of age.
