PONANT opened bookings for their 2023 inaugural Kimberley Coast (Western Australia) expedition program onboard the 3-masted sailing yacht Le Ponant

Commencing on April 7, 2023, PONANT ‘s program of 26x itineraries on Le Ponant for Kimberley 2023 season covers the Rowley Shoals, Northern and Southern Kimberley.

PONANT’s signature travel visions onboard Le Ponant highlight the mix of adventure, sustainability, and luxury. The newly refurbished vessel has been transformed to boast the latest technical innovations reducing emissions and is equipped with Zodiacs for coastal cruising/shore landings/excursions. Having been renovated with a sophisticated design by Jean-Philippe Nuel Studio, the sail yacht offers an intimate setting with just 16 staterooms (reduced from 32) for a maximum of 32 guests (previously 67) served by 32 staff/crew. An invitation to experience Western Australia’s Kimberley coastline on a voyage that combines eco-responsibility and exploration in luxury.

As an exclusive addition to the experience, the Northern & Southern Kimberley itineraries feature an exclusive charter flight between Kununurra-Kuri Bay or Broome-Kuri Bay onboard one of Australian company Paspaley’s vintage Grumman Mallard flying boats taking guests from/to their embarkation point, as well as an exclusive visit of Paspaley’s pearl farms in Kuri Bay.
