Beginning October 4, RCI-Royal Caribbean brought back its popular promotion offering free cruises for kids up to the age of 12 for new sailings booked in October 2022.
Under the terms of the offer, kids up to the age of 12 can travel for free when accompanying a couple of paying passengers in the same stateroom.
The offer is available through October 31 for select departures on/after November 4, 2022 through to April 30, 2024.
There are blackout dates to the offer, and Kids Sail Free excludes:
- Thanksgiving cruises (November 18, 2022-November 25, 2022; November 17, 2023-November 24, 2023)
- Holiday cruises (December 18, 2022-January 6, 2023; December 16, 2023-January 5, 2024)
- Spring break cruises (March 10, 2023-March 24, 2023; March 8, 2024-March 22, 2024)
- Holy Week/Easter cruises (April 1, 2023-April 11, 2023; March 22, 2024-April 4, 2024)
- Summer Sailings (May 24, 2023-September 1, 2023)
- Radiance Alaska cruise tours.
The "free" kids fares will still be subject to taxes, fees, and port expenses, amounting to anywhere from US$60 to US$200+ per person, depending on the cruise itinerary.
Passengers can combine Kids Sail Free with 30% off every passenger, which provides 30% savings off the fare for all guests in the same stateroom.

30% Off Every Guest & Kids Sail Free are not combinable with any other offer/promotion, including/not limited to Ultimate World Cruise, Interline, Standard Group, Travel Agent, Travel Agent Friends and Family, Net Rates, and Weekly Sales Events.
The offer is available to residents of the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico, and select Caribbean countries.
The drawback of the Kids Sail Free offer is the blackout dates, which hinder families' ability to book a voyage that qualifies for the offer. For those who can find a sailing date that is not blacked out, kids sail free offers can save money, especially for higher category staterooms.
Kids Sail Free deal requires the children to be in the same stateroom as the parents.
