In celebration of Italian-American Heritage & Culture Month, CCL-Carnival Cruise Line passengers can register to be the “first-to-know” about on-sale dates and special promotions, such as an exclusive offer for vacationers who sign up, as well as itineraries and other announcements about “Carnival Fun Italian Style” onboard Carnival Venezia and Carnival Firenze.

Costa Venezia is joining the Carnival fleet in the spring of 2023 and starting passenger operations as "Carnival Venezia" from NYC New York (Cape Liberty Bayonne NJ).

Costa Firenze is joining CCL's fleet in 2024 and starting passenger operations as "Carnival Firenze" out of Los Angeles (Long Beach, California).

CCL's President Christine Duffy said that just like their Carnival sisters, fun would be at the heart of Carnival Venezia and Carnival Firenze, but they would "also carry a unique experience incorporating the spectacular Italian atmosphere and rich culture they embody."

Venezia and Firenze expand CCL’s presence in two of its 14 total USA homeports.

Carnival started homeporting in NYC in 1998 and has offered roundtrip voyages regularly with a variety of vessels. In Long Beach CA, CCL embarks more passengers than any other operator and has maintained its West Coast USA presence for 40+ years - homeporting in LA started in 1979.
