Phoenix Reisen's cruise ship Artania carrying 900+ passengers docked at Port Salalah (Oman's Dhofar Governorate) on Tuesday, December 27th, 2022.
Oman News Agency reported that the Port of Salalah had received today the Artania cruise ship, carrying 1394 people (927 passengers + 467 crew), as part of its tourism program in a number of ports in the world.
The program for the vessel (coming from Safaga-Luxor Egypt and heading to Sultan Qaboos (Muscat Governorate) included tours to major historical, archaeological, and tourist monuments that the Dhofar Governorate is popular for, in addition to visits to the traditional markets and beaches in the city of Salalah.
Oman annually welcomes many cruise ships because of its distinguished maritime location overlooking the Arabian Sea, the Sea of Oman, and the Indian Ocean.
