Resorts World Cruises announces voyages from Hong Kong aboard Resorts World One (fka Explorer Dream)

Resorts World Cruises, a line with itineraries within Singapore, Thailand, and Malaysia by Genting Dream announced voyages from Hong Kong with Resorts World One from March 10th, 2023, offering 2- and 3-night rountrips departing every Friday, Sunday, and Wednesday.

Resorts World One was formerly operating as Explorer Dream, a 75,338 GT, 13-deck ship has 928 staterooms, which can accommodate 1856 guests with world-class facilities.

Resorts World's cruise brand started operations in Singapore with Genting Dream in June 2022.

Tan Sri Lim Kok Thay, Chairman of Resorts World Cruises said they were pleased that Resorts World Cruises would have the first cruise ship to homeport in Hong Kong following the resumption of normal travel with the Mainland/overseas. He added they hoped to support the growth of Hong Kong tourism as they had done for both Singapore and Malaysia.

Explorer Dream cruise ship

The Resorts World One ship is chartered by Resorts World Cruises. She will replace the regular 2- and 3-night itineraries of Genting Dream from February 17th until March 1st, 2023, as Genting Dream goes into drydock for maintenance.

Departing on March 3rd, Resorts World One is expected to offer a 5-night relocation voyage (RepositionCruises.com) from Singapore, visiting Vietnam's Ho Chi Minh City/Saigon and Da Nang, before arriving in Hong Kong on March 8th. Passengers can also embark from Kuala Lumpur (via Port Klang) for the repositioning cruise on March 2nd, making it a 6-night cruise visiting Singapore, Saigon and Da Nang before arriving in Hong Kong on March 8th.
