As part of MSC Cruises' partnership with Formula 1, a high-end Grand Prix hospitality offering was unveiled promising a unique "car race" weekend hospitality experience at FORMULA 1 ETIHAD AIRWAYS ABU DHABI GRAND PRIX 2023 (November 24th-26th).

The collaboration will provide a fully integrated Grand Prix experience that is due to bring the trackside thrills of the final race of the season onboard MSC Virtuosa, one of the most stylish cruise ships in MSC's fleet.

Serving as a ship hotel throughout the race's weekend (docked in Abu Dhabi UAE) the 18-deck Virtuosa will offer comfortable accommodations (2421 staterooms) combined with modern amenities like bars and lounges, restaurants, 2 theatres, a large promenade, a shopping mall, an interactive waterpark, fully equipped gym, luxurious spa, 5 swimming pools, extensive kids’ areas, and more.

In 2022, MSC signed a multi-year deal in order to become a Formula 1 Global Partner. The collaboration is a further enrichment of this partnership, established to bring together a couple of global leaders in their respective fields.

A range of packages is available, combining race tickets, exclusive insider access with F1 Experiences, and accommodation.

Fans will find a host of accommodation levels available on MSC Virtuosa, all with complimentary Wi-Fi, half board (breakfast & an evening meal), and transfer to/from the track.

Packages start with a cabin-only option for guests who already have race tickets/a cabin + Formula 1 Grandstand ticket option.

For fans searching for the ultimate Formula 1 weekend, there is a choice of cabin plus F1 Experience (package deals) that include exclusive trackside activities and premium all-inclusive hospitality (Paddock Club, Legend, Turn 1 Suite), including exclusive insider access like Formula 1 personnel appearances, Pit Lane Walk, Guided Track Tour on a flatbed truck, and more.

The Abu Dhabi Cruise Terminal (where Virtuosa will be berthed) is a short drive from the circuit, allowing vacationers to get there and back with ease due to complimentary transfers. The downtown is close by, making the cruise ship a base for the weekend. MSC Virtuosa is scheduled to be in port from 23rd to 27th November, allowing guests the opportunity to extend the race weekend.

The festive atmosphere continues onboard for passengers with a specially designed program of parties, themed activities, and entertainment, along with a dedicated kids’ program.
