CCL-Carnival Cruise Line is expanding its offerings on the West Coast, introducing a new cruise to mark the debut of Carnival Firenze in Long Beach, California next spring.

As part of its 2025-2026 deployment, Carnival has opened bookings for numerous sailings on Carnival Firenze and Carnival Radiance, featuring various itineraries with Mexican destinations. The cruise line is also enhancing its Carnival Journeys program by introducing new Hawaii cruises.

The additional sailings from Long Beach provide more choices for guests sailing from the West Coast, where Carnival presently offers itineraries ranging from short weekend trips to 15-day cruises. The new itineraries include popular destinations like Ensenada, Cabo San Lucas in Mexico, and Santa Catalina Island in California.

Carnival Firenze's updated deployment schedule includes a mix of 4-, 5-, and 6-day sailings, with the 6-day itineraries spending 2 days in Cabo San Lucas. Carnival Radiance's newly available itineraries offer options of 3, 4, and 5 days.

Apart from the new options for sale from fall 2025 into spring 2026, Carnival has opened an additional sailing for Carnival Firenze in spring 2024, advancing the ship's inaugural sailing to April 25. The ship's first voyage from Long Beach will be a 7-day cruise visiting Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan, and Cabo San Lucas.

Carnival Firenze, accommodating 4,126 guests, will bring Carnival Fun Italian Style experiences to Long Beach with its Italian-inspired design. The ship, styled after Florence, Italy, will feature dining and bar venues like the new specialty restaurant Il Viaggio and unique entertainment programming, including an Italian-themed deck party on Lido.

Carnival Radiance is now offering 6 new Carnival Journeys sailings from Long Beach to Hawaii. These 14-day sailings will provide guests with memorable cruise vacations, including visits to stunning destinations across the Hawaiian Islands and a stop in Ensenada. The 2025 departures are scheduled for October 18 and November 29, while the 2026 departures are set for January 10, February 7, March 7, and April 4.

The 2,984-guest Carnival Radiance will feature popular 'Fun Ship' staples and newer favorites, such as the RedFrog Pub, BlueIguana Cantina, Guy's Pig & Anchor Bar-B-Que Smokehouse, and Shaq's Big Chicken.

More details about Carnival Firenze will be revealed before her debut next spring.
