Carnival Panorama faced challenges heading to a Portland shipyard for repairs due to height restrictions.

Despite not typically docking in late November at Ogden Point (Victoria, BC Canada), the vessel, dealing with propulsion problems, diverted to Victoria Shipyard.

Western Stevedoring suggested funnel removal to address height concerns. Maintenance at Ogden Point was postponed to January 2025, the ship will return to Portland Oregon for propulsion repairs, followed by funnel reinstallation in Victoria BC.

With 13 decks and a passenger capacity of 4008, the cruise ship aims to resume normal operations after completing repairs.

Carnival Panorama sails year-round from homeport Long Beach California, offering roundtrips to the Mexican Riviera and Baja California.
