Viking Vela floated out at Fincantieri's Ancona shipyard

Viking Vela, the first vessel in a new cruise ship series by the Italian shipbuilder Fincantieri for Viking Cruises, was launched/floated out from drydock at the yard in Ancona Italy.

With a substantial gross tonnage of ~54,300 tons, Viking Vela is meticulously designed to house 499 cabins and provide accommodation for up to 998 passengers.
