Celebrity Cruises joyously welcomed the highly anticipated arrival of its transformative Edge-Series vessel, Celebrity Edge, in Christchurch (Port Lyttelton NZ) on Saturday, December 16th. Embarking on an inaugural sailing, Celebrity Edge embarked on a 12-night exploration of New Zealand's picturesque coastlines.
This marks the beginning of 12 distinct itineraries departing from Auckland NZ and Sydney NSW, spanning through April 2024, highlighting the splendors of New Zealand, neighboring Australia, and the tropical South Pacific.
Tim Jones (Celebrity's VP and Managing Director for Australia, New Zealand, and APAC) expressed the excitement, stating that Saturday marked a significant milestone for Celebrity Cruises and the local Christchurch community as Celebrity Edge, one of the world's most innovative ships, made her debut in Christchurch.
