SunStone Maritime Group A/S has announced the reactivation of two Infinity Class vessels, with multi-year charters secured for Ocean Explorer and Ocean Odyssey.

Ocean Explorer is slated to resume polar cruising in October 2024, as Quark Expeditions, a longstanding client of SunStone, integrates the vessel into its expedition fleet.

Meanwhile, Ocean Odyssey will be engaged in operations outside the traditional cruise market.

Following the conclusion of Quark's charter for Ocean Adventurer in October 2024, this vessel will be made available for sale or charter.

SunStone's Infinity Class newbuilds set a new benchmark in polar expedition voyages with their state-of-the-art design and unmatched features.

Beyond boasting Ice Class 1A and Polar Class 6 certifications, these vessels incorporate advanced technologies such as zero-speed stabilization, virtual anchoring, and Safe Return to Port capabilities. With a capacity of up to 95 passenger cabins, most equipped with balconies, the Infinity vessels promise a richly immersive and comfortable journey for travelers.

Onboard amenities include restaurants, lecture spaces, lounges, a 180-degree indoor observation deck, outdoor viewing areas, a gym, sauna, spa, and a specially designed platform catering to kayakers and divers.

Facilitating Zodiac excursions are 4 sea-level loading platforms and a mud room, ensuring smooth operations for off-board activities.
