Costa Cruises unveils a new offering for its guests in 2024 with the introduction of the 'Lost Luggage Concierge' service. In collaboration with SosTravel.com S.p.A., a leading digital travel company specializing in baggage tracing, Costa is providing a solution to alleviate concerns for guests traveling by air to reach their cruise embarkation port.

Under this exclusive agreement, Costa guests who experience lost luggage upon arrival at their flight's destination airport will receive assistance from SosTravel. SosTravel will track down and deliver the lost luggage directly to the ship within 48 hours (excluding sailing hours), ensuring a seamless experience for guests. All necessary operations for luggage recovery will be managed by SosTravel, requiring guests only to report the loss at the airport to activate the service.

The Lost Luggage Concierge service is automatically included at no additional cost for all 'Fly & Cruise' guests departing from Europe between May and the end of November 2024. This applies to guests who purchase the complete 'flight + cruise' package through Costa's direct channels or partner travel agencies.

Additionally, 'Cruise Only' guests departing from Europe during the same period will soon have the option to purchase the Lost Luggage Concierge service directly through the SOS Travel website via the MyCosta app, ensuring peace of mind for all travelers.

This innovative service enhances the Costa cruise experience, enabling guests to fully enjoy their itineraries even when utilizing air travel connections. Notable upcoming Costa itineraries include the Costa Fortuna's one-week cruises in Greece and Turkey departing from Athens (Piraeus), the Costa Favolosa's North European cruises from Hamburg, and the Costa Diadema's Norwegian fjord exploration from Kiel or Copenhagen during summer 2024.
