Celebrity Cruises will redeploy Celebrity Apex to Southampton (England UK) for a second consecutive summer season in 2025.
The EDGE Class vessel will operate a variety of roundtrip itineraries visiting destinations in Northern Europe, Spain's Canary Islands, Portugal, and Ibiza.
Notably, this season will feature Celebrity’s first-ever "Presidents’ Cruise" from the UK to the Norwegian Fjords.
Sailings commenced Sunday, April 13th, with an 11-night voyage to the Canary Islands and Portugal. Ports of call include Lisbon, known for its historical architecture and patterned pavements, and Gran Canaria, noted for its varied topography, beaches, and volcanic landscapes.
Launched as the second vessel in the Edge Series, Celebrity Apex incorporates an outward-facing design concept and contemporary structural elements that aim to enhance the onboard experience. Key architectural features include the Magic Carpet, a cantilevered venue for dining and observation; The Retreat, an exclusive suite area with a private sundeck, lounge, and restaurant; and the Infinite Veranda staterooms that expand usable cabin space.
The 2025 season will also include the annual President’s Cruise, departing May 17th, offering a 7-night voyage through the Norwegian Fjords. This sailing will be attended by members of Celebrity Cruises’ executive leadership and includes onboard culinary programming with Chef Daniel Boulud, the brand’s Global Culinary Ambassador. Additional features of this sailing include bespoke shore excursions and exclusive entertainment.
