Following an extensive drydock refurbishment at Navantia (Cadiz, Spain), Carnival Miracle has resumed operations, launching CCL-Carnival Cruise Line’s 2025 summer European season.

The vessel, which reentered service from Lisbon, Portugal, welcomed guests on board this past Sunday, unveiling a series of technical and hospitality upgrades aimed at improving onboard services and guest amenities.

The drydocking project included both structural and experiential enhancements. Among the new features is the Heroes Tribute Bar & Lounge, a space dedicated to honoring military personnel and veterans, now present across 15 ships in the CCL fleet. The vessel also received a redesigned Carnival Adventures store, providing a central hub for guests to plan shoreside excursions more efficiently.

Various public spaces underwent significant renovations. The mini-golf course and nightclub were redesigned for improved layout and functionality. The casino was expanded, offering increased capacity and updated gaming facilities. Youth-oriented spaces, including the Camp Ocean program and the teens club, were reimagined with modern interiors and additional activity options. A dedicated venue for Carnival’s Chef’s Table experience has been introduced on Deck 1. A new Dreams Studio was also added, designed to support professional-grade photography sessions.

Several other onboard facilities, such as Cloud 9 Spa, Serenity (the adult-only sundeck), Club O2, JavaBlue Cafe, and the Lido Marketplace, were refreshed.

Carnival Miracle’s current itinerary is a 7-day voyage from Lisbon visiting Spain's La Coruña and Bilbao, and France's Le Verdon/Bordeaux and Le Havre/Paris. The ship will then reposition to Dover, England UK, to begin a series of extended Northern European voyages (9 to 12 days) through the British Isles, Scandinavia, and the Baltic.

Later this summer, the vessel is scheduled to reposition to Civitavecchia/Rome for Mediterranean roundtrips to destinations in France, Spain, Portugal, Greece, and Turkey.

In November, Carnival Miracle will return to the USA, taking up a new homeport (Tampa, Florida) to operate 6- to 8-day roundtrips throughout the Caribbean and The Bahamas.
