RCI-Royal Caribbean International has announced that Navigator of the Seas will homeport in Singapore for the first time, introducing an extensive program of voyages throughout Southeast and East Asia between October 2026 and February 2027. These itineraries range from 3 to 12 nights, catering to both short getaways and longer regional explorations, with bookings now open via the cruise line’s website.
The deployment marks a strategic expansion into the Asian market. According to Chad Grospe, vice president and managing director for Asia Pacific, the offering has been designed with the region’s travel preferences in mind. The aim, Grospe indicated, is to provide a multi-generational holiday experience that blends signature Royal Caribbean attractions with cultural richness unique to the region.
Navigator of the Seas will operate shorter sailings of 3 to 5 nights that include calls to destinations such as Penang and Langkawi in Malaysia and Phuket in Thailand. These ports offer a combination of culinary heritage, pristine beaches, and accessible adventure. For travelers seeking extended itineraries, a 10-night cruise will feature visits to Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, and an overnight stay in Bangkok, combining coastal landscapes with vibrant urban experiences.
In February 2027, the vessel will expand its reach with sailings from both Singapore and Tokyo, ranging from 11 to 12 nights. These cruises will include calls at Tokyo, Hong Kong, and Taipei, designed to merge cultural immersion with the line’s well-known onboard entertainment and activity lineup.
Navigator of the Seas has been equipped with a broad array of amenities that will debut in Asia for the first time. Highlights include a redesigned Caribbean-style pool deck, dual waterslides—The Blaster and Riptide—Royal Caribbean’s signature FlowRider surf simulator, a rock climbing wall, and glow-in-the-dark laser tag. The ship also offers Royal Escape Room: The Observatorium for group puzzle-solving, and an onboard dry bar called To Dry For, the first of its kind at sea.
Dining and nightlife options have also been tailored to broaden guest experiences. Guests will find the seafood-focused Hooked, the vibrant El Loco Fresh serving Mexican fare, and Johnny Rockets Express for American diner classics. The Bamboo Room, a Polynesian-themed cocktail bar, rounds out the ship’s refreshment offerings with craft drinks in a relaxed tropical setting.
The vessel will also showcase original stage productions and ice-skating performances at Studio B, offering a robust entertainment program that further distinguishes the cruise experience. With this deployment, Royal Caribbean reinforces its commitment to delivering high-impact, family-friendly maritime holidays in Asia, setting a new standard for cruising in the region during the 2026-2027 season.
