Hapag-Lloyd's HANSEATIC inspiration embarks on South American expeditions in late 2025

In November and December 2025, Hapag-Lloyd Cruises will offer 3 meticulously planned expeditions aboard the HANSEATIC inspiration, traversing the rich natural and cultural terrains of Central and South America. Designed for up to 230 guests, this state-of-the-art expedition vessel provides an intimate cruising experience with bilingual services in German and English.

The first itinerary, "Oh, How Beautiful is the Panama Canal," departs from Panama City on November 8, 2025, for an 11-day voyage. Highlights include a full transit of the Panama Canal and a new stop at Punta Leona, Costa Rica, offering guests the opportunity to explore exotic wildlife and volcanic landscapes.

The second journey, "Mysterious Equatorial Adventure," sets sail on November 19, 2025, for 16 days along the Pacific coasts of Panama, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Chile. This expedition combines visits to archaeological sites, rainforests, and indigenous communities, providing deep insights into the region's diverse ecosystems and cultures.

The final expedition, "Nature is Big, Man is Small," begins on December 5, 2025, for a 15-day exploration of Chile's fjords. Travelers will experience the spectacular fjord landscapes of Patagonia, including the Torres del Paine National Park, and observe glaciers both from the ship and up close via Zodiac excursions.
