Cunard has confirmed that Le Gavroche at Sea, the acclaimed culinary residency with two-Michelin-star chef Michel Roux, will return for a third season in 2026. The programme will feature 4 exclusive evenings aboard Queen Anne, including three 7-night Norwegian Fjords voyages in May, August, and November, and a separate voyage incorporating Iceland and the British Isles in July.
Since its debut in 2024, the residency has remained in high demand, with the 2025 season already fully booked. The collaboration continues to demonstrate Cunard’s commitment to elevated gastronomy and immersive onboard experiences, catering to the growing appetite among travellers for authentic, destination-inspired cuisine.
Each evening at Le Gavroche at Sea will present a 5-course tasting menu in Sir Samuels restaurant, showcasing premium, sea-themed ingredients. Service is limited to just fifty guests per seating, preserving an intimate and refined atmosphere. During the voyages, Chef Roux will also offer live cooking demonstrations and insight talks in the Royal Court Theatre, as well as book signings, further enriching the guest experience.
Alongside the main residency, Queen Anne’s Carinthia Lounge will feature Oysters at Carinthia, a nightly seafood offering inspired by Norwegian tradition, available during the Le Gavroche voyages.
Cunard President Katie McAlister highlighted that the residency has fast become a highlight of voyages aboard Queen Anne, noting the perfect harmony between Roux’s passion for culinary excellence and the cruise line’s own commitment to exceptional guest experiences. She anticipates that the 2026 series will attract even stronger interest.
Michel Roux reflected on the partnership as a unique opportunity to bring Le Gavroche’s spirit to sea. He described the programme as a celebration of elegance and shared love for refined dining, expressing enthusiasm at returning to Queen Anne for another season of connection, creativity, and culinary delight.
In reaffirming this culinary collaboration, Cunard continues to elevate maritime dining, offering travellers an intimate fusion of Michelin-level cuisine, expertly curated events, and regional flavours—all set within the elegant confines of a themed culinary residency at sea.
