ACL-American Cruise Lines has introduced a new itinerary for 2026 in observance of the 250th anniversary of the United States. The newly announced 32-day Revolutionary War Cruise will operate between Albany, New York, and Washington, D.C., departing October 8 and concluding November 5, 2026. This sailing becomes the fifth itinerary in the line’s extended cruise program for the year.
The cruise is structured to trace the historical arc of the American Revolution and includes expert-led programming on board. Guests will sail along the Hudson River and segments of the East Coast during the autumn season, coinciding with peak fall foliage. Ports of call include New York City, Boston, Philadelphia, Annapolis, Newport, Plymouth, Yorktown, Sleepy Hollow, and others. Itinerary highlights feature visits to sites such as West Point, Mount Vernon, Hyde Park, and Virginia’s historic triangle—Jamestown, Williamsburg, and Yorktown.
Travelers will rotate among three of the newest U.S.-built ships in the fleet: American Legend, American Patriot, and American Pioneer. The sailing also includes accommodations at the Four Seasons in Washington, D.C., and access to the Smithsonian’s Entertainment Nation exhibit, supported by the cruise line.
This new itinerary complements the extended cruise program announced earlier in 2025, which includes four additional long-duration offerings: the 52-day Great United States Cruise, 51-day Spring Across America Cruise, 55-day Great American Fall Foliage Cruise, and 36-day Civil War Battlefields Cruise.
All extended cruises feature full-service inclusions such as cruise concierge service, hotel stays and flights between segments, shore excursions, onboard entertainment, meals and beverages (including alcohol), gratuities, port charges, and Wi-Fi. Reservations are currently open.
