A concluding aerial salute marked the final cruise of Carnival Miracle from Dover (England) on August 10th.
A single-seat 1944 Mustang fighter aircraft, once deployed by the United States during the Second World War, executed a ten-minute circuit above the White Cliffs of Dover as the vessel commenced its 15-day Mediterranean voyage.
The Port of Dover reflected on the longstanding engagement with CCL-Carnival Cruise Line and on the sustained enthusiasm brought by its passengers and crew, describing the season’s closure as memorable and expressing anticipation for the return of Carnival Legend in 2026.
Carnival Cruise Line’s president conveyed appreciation for the port’s distinguished dispatch of Carnival Miracle, noting that the vessel’s guests valued Dover’s historical significance and landscape, and confirming expectations for the upcoming season’s resumption with Carnival Legend.
