On August 14th, 2025, Viking confirmed details of its 2027–2028 World Cruise program. The Viking Vesta will depart Fort Lauderdale on December 28th, 2027 for a 142-day voyage, calling at 62 ports in 31 countries across 6 continents, before concluding in London on May 18th, 2028. The itinerary includes 16 overnight stays, providing extended opportunities for port exploration.

The voyage will commence in Central America, followed by a Panama Canal transit and a series of calls along the North American Pacific coast. The ship will then cross the Pacific to Hawaii and French Polynesia, continue to New Zealand and Australia, and proceed through Southeast Asia and Africa, before reaching Western Europe. Ports of call include Sydney, Singapore, Zanzibar, Cape Town, and Casablanca, among others.

For those seeking extended itineraries, Viking offers alternative options. The 170-day Viking World Voyage III will sail beyond London to Northern Europe and Scandinavia, concluding in Stockholm, while the 153-day Viking World Voyage IV will operate from Los Angeles to Stockholm. A shorter 125-day Viking World Discoveries itinerary will also depart Los Angeles and terminate in London.

Viking’s enrichment program includes onboard lectures and cultural programming through the Viking Resident Historian® series, as well as included shore excursions in every port. Optional overland tours will be available, such as multi-day experiences in Australia’s interior, India’s Golden Triangle, and South Africa’s Kruger National Park.

Booking incentives for North American travelers are available until August 31st, 2025, including business-class airfare, transfers, and various onboard credits. Viking also offers reduced deposits and additional savings for early payment.
