StarDream Cruises, operator of StarCruises and Dream Cruises, has announced the introduction of pickleball facilities aboard two of its vessels, Genting Dream and Star Navigator. The addition follows the sport’s growing popularity across Asia and globally.
On Genting Dream, two pickleball courts have been installed on the ship’s former basketball courts. Beginning September 21st, 2025, passengers sailing from Singapore are able to use the courts on short itineraries of two and three nights to Melaka, Penang, and Phuket, as well as on a 5-night voyage to South and North Bali scheduled for November 30th, 2025.
Star Navigator has been fitted with a single court and will begin offering pickleball on September 26th, 2025. Operating from Keelung, the ship will undertake roundtrip cruises to Japan’s Okinawa and Kyushu, and to South Korea’s Jeju and Busan. Between November 16th, 2025 and January 30th, 2026, Star Navigator will homeport in Kaohsiung, with itineraries ranging from 2 to 5 nights that include calls in Okinawa, the Philippines (Laoag, Coron, Boracay, Puerto Princesa), and Vietnam (Ha Long Bay, Da Nang).
Both ships will incorporate the new facilities into their wider seasonal deployment across Asia.
