In June 2025, Ambassador Cruise Line confirmed that its 2027-2028 programme would mark the first season in which all no-fly sailings are reserved exclusively for adults. With only one remaining multigenerational voyage scheduled for August 2026, the line’s decision to revert to a fully adult-only model for no-fly itineraries is intended to maintain a consistent, adult-focused atmosphere on board throughout the year, including during school holiday periods.
Chief Executive Officer Christian Verhounig stated that Ambassador’s no-fly cruises represent the essence of the company’s product, designed to highlight the advantages of operating smaller ships and to deliver an experience balancing exploration, relaxation, and cultural engagement. He noted that, following extensive guest feedback, the line has refined its offering to focus on what passengers value most: a traditional, authentic, and adult-oriented style of cruising. Accordingly, the 2027-2028 season will be the first in which every no-fly itinerary is designated as child-free.
The upcoming schedule continues to feature a range of itineraries designed to appeal to adult travellers seeking cultural discovery and leisurely seagoing experiences.
One highlight is Ambition’s 5-night Festive Break to Belgium and Holland, departing December 9th, 2026 from the London Cruise Terminal. The voyage visits Amsterdam, Bruges, and Antwerp, combining seasonal markets, historic charm, and local traditions.
Also sailing from London Cruise Terminal, Ambience will operate a Christmas and New Year Voyage to Spain and Portugal, departing December 20th, 2026 for 14 nights. The cruise includes calls at Lisbon and Cádiz and offers passengers the opportunity to celebrate the festive season while visiting Iberian coastal destinations.
For summer 2027, Ambience will depart on July 14th for a 12-night Cultural Gems of the Iberian Peninsula and France itinerary. The voyage explores ports across Spain, Portugal, and France, including La Coruña, Lisbon, and Le Verdon, combining maritime heritage with regional gastronomy and culture.
Later in the season, Ambition will sail from the Port of Tyne, Newcastle, on September 20th, 2027 for a 5-night Autumnal Landscapes of Norway’s Fjords voyage. The itinerary features visits to Flam and a scenic passage through the Sognefjord, one of Norway’s most renowned fjords. The line’s fleet complies with IMO Tier III environmental standards, enabling access to sensitive destinations within UNESCO-listed areas.
