A federal investigation has been initiated following the death of a passenger aboard the cruise ship Carnival Horizon, which docked at Port Miami on November 8th, 2025.
The vessel had been operating a 6-night Caribbean cruise when the incident occurred. According to an official statement from CCL-Carnival Cruise Line, the company is fully cooperating with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Miami Field Office and is focused on supporting the guest’s family.
At present, the passenger’s identity and the precise circumstances of her death have not been formally released. Local media reports have identified the individual as an 18-year-old senior student from Florida.
