Gotland Alandia Cruises has announced that its ship, MS Birka Gotland, will include the Polish port city of Gdańsk as a destination in its summer 2026 program, with departures from Stockholm scheduled for August 30th and September 13th.
Gdańsk will stand out within the Baltic itinerary for its rich cultural heritage and historic architecture, including the UNESCO-listed Old Town and its significant waterfront landmarks. Visitors will also have access to excursions combining the Hanseatic legacy of Gdańsk with the adjacent seaside resort of Sopot and local amber-craft traditions.
In addition to the new Gdańsk sailings, the operator will maintain its existing Baltic destinations, such as the High Coast of Sweden, the Danish island of Bornholm and Riga in Latvia. The Stockholm–Visby route will also continue.
Bookings for the expanded season, including the Gdańsk departures, are already open.
