Azamara Cruises has announced a new system that allows guests to arrange specialty dining and spa appointments prior to embarkation. The program, scheduled for a phased rollout beginning December 1st, will gradually become available across the fleet throughout the month.
According to Simon Blacoe, the company’s vice president of hotel operations, the initiative was developed in response to guest feedback indicating a desire for greater control over dining arrangements before sailing. He noted that the line viewed advance booking as an extension of its hospitality, allowing guests to secure preferred experiences ahead of time rather than once on board.
Travelers may now reserve meals at Prime C, the line’s steakhouse; Aqualina, its Italian venue; and the Chef’s Table, which features a six-course menu paired with wines. Bookings can be made online, through travel advisors, or via the Azamara call center. Access opens 150 days before embarkation for suite guests and for Azamara Circle members at the Discoverer level and above, and 140 days prior for all remaining passengers.
Spa appointments can be arranged up to twelve months in advance through travel advisors or the call center, with online booking expected to follow in early 2026. Eligible loyalty discounts will be applied automatically, and all reservations close seven days before departure.
Blacoe said the company viewed the program as part of its ongoing effort to refine both service and digital experience, aiming to ensure that guests feel well supported from the moment their voyage is booked.
