Oceania Cruises has established a new referral initiative, known as the Oceania Club Ambassador Program, to extend introduction of its brand to prospective first-time cruisers while providing a tangible benefit to existing loyal members.
Under the program’s terms, when a member of the Oceania Club refers a friend or family member who then completes a booking for their first cruise with the company and submits the prescribed referral documentation within 14 days of paying a deposit, both the referring member and the newly referred guest are each credited with a US$200 Future Cruise Credit. These credits may be applied toward existing or future full-fare reservations that have not yet reached final payment, and may remain in place for up to three years from the date of issuance.
Members may allocate up to four such credits against a single reservation, and neither party is required to sail together for the credits to be used. The program is structured for personal referrals among acquaintances rather than broader public solicitation or social-media promotion.
The program has been introduced as part of Oceania’s efforts to reinforce engagement with its clientele and to familiarise new guests with the vessel experiences widely promoted by the line, including destination-centric itineraries and onboard amenities placed within the context of upscale cruising.
