MSC Cruises has opened bookings for its 2029 World Cruise, a 119-night voyage aboard MSC Magnifica featuring 45 destinations across 21 countries. The itinerary covers the Mediterranean, South America, the Pacific and Asia, with 9 overnight port calls and 15 shore excursions included in the fare.

A major feature of the voyage will be a circumnavigation of Australia, with calls in Sydney, Melbourne, Kangaroo Island, Adelaide, Perth, Broome and Darwin. The ship will then visit Indonesia, with extended stays in Bali, Lombok and Java, allowing passengers additional time to explore local culture, landscapes and heritage sites.

Upgraded Onboard Facilities

MSC Magnifica has undergone refurbishment and now features the MSC Yacht Club, MSC Cruises’ ship-within-a-ship concept. The facilities include suites, a dedicated restaurant and lounge, private sundeck, hot tubs, a grill restaurant and a bar. Guests also have access to 24-hour butler and concierge services.

The onboard programme will include destination-inspired events, themed dining, regional food pairings, port-inspired cocktails, live music and stage productions. Language and dance classes will also be offered during the voyage.

Embarkation Ports and Booking Benefits

Passengers will be able to embark from 4 Mediterranean ports in January 2029. The voyage will depart from Civitavecchia, serving Rome, on January 4th, followed by embarkation opportunities in Genoa, Marseille and Barcelona.

The cruise fare includes 15 shore excursions, a Dine & Drink beverage package covering selected drinks served during lunch and dinner, and a 30% discount on laundry services. MSC Voyagers Club members at Classic level and above will also receive a 5% booking discount.

Members who book by November 19th, 2026 will earn triple MSC Voyagers Club points on their World Cruise reservation, with the points credited before departure.
