RCI-Royal Caribbean is preparing to introduce a new stage production aboard Legend of the Seas, with the debut of America’s Got Talent LIVE scheduled for August 2026. The show represents a maritime adaptation of the established television format and will mark the first occasion on which the franchise is presented as a headline production at sea.

The production will be staged in the vessel’s Royal Theater and will feature a rotating programme of performers drawn from the wider Got Talent network, including magicians, musicians, acrobats and aerialists. The concept follows the structure of the original format while being adapted to suit a cruise environment and an international passenger base.

Company representatives indicated that the introduction of the show forms part of an ongoing strategy to expand onboard entertainment across multiple performance environments, including theatre, water-based venues and ice arenas. The new production was described internally as aligning with the operator’s objective of delivering large-scale, visually driven entertainment consistent with contemporary expectations for cruise-based leisure.

From the perspective of Fremantle, the production company associated with the franchise, the collaboration was presented as an extension of the brand into a new operational setting, with the intention of presenting international acts to audiences in a purpose-built maritime venue.

The introduction of America’s Got Talent LIVE forms part of a broader entertainment programme aboard Legend of the Seas, which will also include theatrical productions, aquatic performances in the AquaTheater and ice-based shows in what is described as the largest ice arena at sea.

The vessel is scheduled to enter service in the Mediterranean during the summer of 2026, operating seven-night itineraries from Barcelona and Civitavecchia, before repositioning to Fort Lauderdale in November for Caribbean deployments. These will include 6- and 8-night itineraries incorporating ports across the Western and Southern Caribbean, as well as calls at the company’s private destination in the Bahamas.
