MSC Cruises has revealed an expanded onboard retail programme for MSC World Asia, introducing a broader selection of luxury boutiques, family-oriented shopping concepts and exclusive brand partnerships ahead of the ship's entry into service in December 2026.
The cruise line's latest World Class flagship will feature an extensive retail district extending across the outdoor World Promenade and indoor World Galleria, bringing together luxury fashion, jewellery, watches, fragrances and exclusive MSC-branded merchandise within a single shopping destination. The enhanced retail offering forms part of MSC Cruises' ongoing strategy to expand onboard shopping experiences across its newest generation of vessels.
Among the highlights will be a multi-brand luxury watch boutique showcasing collections from Breitling, Cartier, Chopard, Hublot, IWC, Panerai and TAG Heuer, complemented by a dedicated Rolex boutique. Guests will also find jewellery from brands including Messika, Damiani, Maison Heavenly and Swarovski, alongside luxury fashion and accessories from international designers. The fragrance selection will feature premium labels such as Xerjoff, Parfums de Marly, Jo Malone London, Chanel and Dior.
For the first time, MSC Cruises will introduce retail concepts specifically designed for families. Pop-up stores located in The Harbour outdoor activity area and The Clubhouse family entertainment venue will offer themed souvenirs, collectibles, clothing, games, tote bags and other merchandise tailored to younger guests.
The retail programme will also include limited-edition collections and temporary pop-up events featuring products available exclusively aboard MSC Cruises ships. Guests will additionally be able to create personalised keepsakes through Iris Galerie, which transforms iris photographs into bespoke artwork, while The Hub photography studio will provide professional photography services throughout each voyage.
MSC World Asia is scheduled to enter service on December 4th, 2026, operating 7-night Mediterranean cruises from Barcelona with calls at Marseille, Messina, Civitavecchia (Rome), Naples and Valletta. As the third vessel in the World Class series, following MSC World Europa and MSC World America, the ship will incorporate design elements inspired by the cultures, landscapes and artistic traditions of Asia while maintaining the class's distinctive architectural concept.
The expanded retail programme reflects a wider trend within the cruise industry, where onboard shopping continues to evolve beyond traditional duty-free offerings to include luxury boutiques, exclusive collaborations and destination-inspired products that enhance the overall guest experience.
