CCL-Carnival Cruise Line is launching Play Carnival, an interactive livestream designed to bring together cruising and online gaming. The event will take place on November 15th, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. EST, broadcast through the company's Twitch account as well as its Instagram and TikTok channels.

The livestream will feature digital creator iJustine and Carnival Fleet Cruise Director Erin Weigand, who will guide viewers through an interactive adventure aboard Carnival Celebration. Unlike a conventional livestream, the format will allow audiences to influence the action by voting on destinations, challenges and additional activities throughout the ship.

iJustine will navigate the vessel and complete a series of tasks, while Weigand acts as her co-pilot, communicating audience choices and introducing new challenges. One of the objectives will be to earn a Cruise Director badge. A live Fun Meter will also track progress, with the game ending if its level reaches zero.

Various venues and activities aboard Carnival Celebration, together with destinations from Carnival's Paradise Collection, will be incorporated into the gameplay as challenges and side quests. The event will also include opportunities for viewers to win a Carnival cruise.

According to Carnival, the initiative forms part of its broader Carnival Is Calling brand platform and the Find Your Fun Again campaign. The company intends to use the interactive format to reach new audiences by combining digital entertainment with experiences associated with its cruise holidays.
