Celebrity Cruises has opened reservations for the inaugural season of Celebrity Xcite, the 6th vessel in its Edge Series, which is scheduled to enter service in 2028. The ship will operate 7-night Caribbean itineraries from Miami, as part of the company’s expanded 2028–2029 regional programme, which will deploy 9 other ships from 4 Florida ports.
During its inaugural season, Celebrity Xcite will visit destinations including St. Thomas, Antigua, the British Virgin Islands, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Maarten and the Dominican Republic.
The wider deployment includes several new itinerary options. Celebrity Beyond will introduce the first 3-night weekend cruises operated by an Edge Series ship, sailing from Fort Lauderdale to the Bahamas between November 2028 and March 2029. The vessel will also operate 8- to 11-night Caribbean voyages, including 6 Panama Canal itineraries. Celebrity Silhouette is scheduled to offer 8- to 12-night summer cruises to the Southern Caribbean, with calls in Barbados, Saint Lucia, Martinique and Grenada, while Celebrity Xcel will provide additional access to Aruba, Bonaire and Curaçao from Fort Lauderdale.
Other ships will cover a range of shorter and longer itineraries. Celebrity Eclipse will operate weekend and 11-night cruises from Fort Lauderdale, while Celebrity Summit will offer 4- to 5-night departures from Miami. Celebrity Ascent is scheduled for 9- to 12-night voyages, and the refurbished Celebrity Reflection will continue year-round Caribbean operations from Fort Lauderdale with 6- to 8-night itineraries.
The programme will also include Celebrity Apex sailings from Cape Canaveral to the Eastern and Western Caribbean, while Celebrity Constellation will operate 7-night cruises from Tampa to Key West, the Bahamas and the Western Caribbean.
Bookings for the winter 2028–2029 Caribbean season opened on November 3rd, 2026, with summer 2028 departures scheduled to go on sale on December 9th, 2026.
