Oceania Cruises has outlined its 2027 Alaska season, with Oceania Riviera scheduled to operate 7-, 10- and 11-day voyages from Seattle and Vancouver. The itineraries will combine calls at established Alaskan ports with visits to smaller and less accessible destinations, alongside scenic cruising through areas including Hubbard Glacier and the Holkham Bay Glacier Fjords.
The programme covers ports such as Ketchikan, Sitka, Juneau, Skagway, Wrangell, Klawock and Haines. Departures will run from May to September 2027, with options including an 11-day voyage from Vancouver to Seattle departing May 13th, a series of 7-day round trips from Seattle between June 24th and August 5th, and an 11-day sailing from Seattle to Vancouver on September 2nd.
A longer 27-day itinerary, Glaciers, Geishas & Gyoza, will depart Vancouver on September 13th, combining Alaskan calls and scenic cruising at Hubbard Glacier with a transpacific crossing to Tokyo.
The shore excursion programme will include visits to a floating oyster farm in Ketchikan, a king crab fishing vessel, helicopter-assisted dog sledding on Mendenhall Glacier and guided glacier hikes. Other activities will focus on local history, crafts and regional cuisine.
Passengers will also be able to extend their trips through land programmes in Alaska and Canada. Options include a journey to Anchorage and Denali National Park with travel aboard a dome rail train, a 7-night Rocky Mountaineer itinerary through Calgary, Banff, Kamloops and Vancouver, and a 3-night Vancouver programme combining city visits with excursions along the Sea-to-Sky Highway.
The 2027 deployment is designed to combine Alaska’s coastal and inland experiences with the onboard facilities of Oceania Riviera.
