With the approach of the May and June school holidays in Singapore, StarDream Cruises has arranged a seasonal deployment of the vessel Star Voyager, offering a sequence of short regional voyages intended to provide convenient sea holidays departing close to home. The program is scheduled to operate between May 31st and June 26th, 2026, during which the ship will sail a variety of itineraries designed to balance brief coastal escapes with longer journeys across Southeast Asian waters.

The seasonal schedule introduces a broader range of cruise options, combining established routes with several additions to the lineup. Among the new offerings are 2-night voyages to Pangkor, scheduled to depart on May 31st and June 21st, alongside 3-night sailings to Penang on June 2nd and 23rd. These itineraries are intended to complement the vessel’s regular short departures, including 2-night cruises to Tioman operating on Fridays, as well as extended 5-night voyages to Vietnam with calls at Nha Trang and Ho Chi Minh City, departing on June 7th and 14th.

The broader program reflects the regional cruise line’s effort to diversify its seasonal sailings from Singapore. By combining established ports with additional destinations across Southeast Asia, the schedule provides a mix of short and mid-length itineraries suited to travellers seeking convenient holidays without the need for long-haul travel. The routes connect Singapore with ports in Malaysia, Vietnam and other nearby destinations while maintaining the round-trip format that has become a familiar feature of regional cruising.

Within the company, the expansion of the itinerary program has been described as part of a broader effort to increase both choice and flexibility for guests. Michael Goh, president of StarDream Cruises, indicated that the inclusion of destinations such as Penang and Pangkor alongside Tioman and Vietnam was intended to broaden the range of travel experiences available to passengers. In his remarks, he suggested that the revised program would allow travellers to select between brief island retreats, cultural port visits and longer voyages that explore several destinations within a single itinerary.

Together, these sailings form a seasonal deployment aimed at the peak holiday period, positioning Star Voyager as a regional option for families and travellers seeking short sea passages across the waters of Southeast Asia. The combination of flexible voyage lengths and nearby destinations reflects the continuing development of short-duration cruising from Singapore as a gateway to surrounding island and coastal ports.
