On April 21st, Silversea opened reservations for its 2029 world voyage.

The 125-day itinerary across the Pacific is scheduled to depart San Diego CA on January 5th (2029) aboard the vessel Silver Whisper. The program will encompass 60+ destinations in 19 countries, spanning regions including Polynesia, Micronesia, Melanesia, Australia, Asia, and New Zealand.

The itinerary incorporates a combination of established ports and less frequented locations, including Kalanggaman Island and Motu Tapu, reflecting an emphasis on geographic range and varied routing. A series of themed events will accompany the voyage under the designation “From Kingdoms to Dynasties,” with programming intended to align with the cultural context of the regions visited.

Advance booking access has been extended to members of the Venetian Society, with general sales scheduled to follow. Company leadership indicated that the itinerary had been structured to deliver a broad spectrum of experiences, combining extended stays with new ports of call and many curated activities ashore. It was further conveyed that the inclusion of multiple overnight calls and exclusive arrangements—such as private access to venues including ʻIolani Palace and dedicated events in island destinations within the Philippines—was intended to provide deeper engagement with each destination while maintaining a balance between widely recognised locations and more remote ports.
