StarDream Cruises, operator of StarCruises and Dream Cruises, has outlined its 2026 deployment across the Asia-Pacific region, combining extended itineraries, themed programming, and promotional campaigns aimed at regional travellers.
The company indicated that the forthcoming programme had been structured to integrate a broad representation of Asian destinations, cuisine, entertainment, and cultural elements within a single cruise offering. This approach was presented as part of a wider effort to shape a cohesive holiday experience reflective of the region.
A central feature of the schedule is the 10th anniversary of Dream Cruises, formally marked by the departure of the Genting Dream from Port Klang in April. The commemorative sailings form the basis of a broader series of themed voyages extending through the year.
Selected departures will incorporate elements of contemporary Korean popular culture, with appearances by performers and personalities drawn from music, fitness, and culinary media. These sailings are intended to align onboard programming with current entertainment trends across the region.
In parallel with the anniversary programme, the operator has introduced a range of short-term commercial incentives, including reduced fares for additional guests sharing accommodation and limited-duration promotional pricing across select itineraries.
Under the StarCruises banner, further sailings will feature regional culinary figures, including appearances by Malaysian chef Chef Wan aboard the Star Voyager. These voyages will operate from Port Klang and include short itineraries to destinations such as Phuket, supplemented by additional departures from Singapore.
The company’s president conveyed that the expanded programme formed part of a broader strategy to reinforce the operator’s presence in Malaysia while supporting national tourism objectives linked to Visit Malaysia 2026. Homeporting operations in Port Klang were described as a means of improving accessibility for domestic travellers while positioning Malaysia as a regional embarkation point for cruise travel.
Additional incentives will be extended to cardholders of selected financial institutions, with discounts applied to bookings made through the company’s direct sales channels.
